Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania received the UNICEF Executive Chief Ann Veneman. King

Abdullah expressed his appreciation to the international organization for its support for Jordan's

achievement of the Millennium Development Goals for children, as well as the organization's concern for

children's welfare and protection. He also lauded UNICEF's children's programs, which are of special

concern to Queen Rania. The King told Veneman that Jordan is keen to foster its relations with UNICEF

to achieve the aspired goals.
